Oslo, 12 February 2024: Watch the latest results of the DNV-led REDHUS research project, where KCC joined forces together with Altera Infrastructure, ScoutDI, and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) to participate in developing an automated remote ship hull survey with the use of drones and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.

With their ability to navigate potentially hazardous environments and parts of the ship that are harder to reach, remote hull surveys have the potential to significantly improve ship inspections by enhancing safety and improving collaboration from ship to shore.
