Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct is rooted in KCC’s core values and, together with our policies, procedures, and applicable laws, forms the foundation for responsible business practices. It provides a framework that guides our actions and decisions, ensuring we act with integrity in everything we do.
Its principles are embedded across our governance documents and all daily operations.
Counterparty Code of Conduct
Our Counterparty Code of Conduct sets out the core legal and ethical standards we expect from all subcontractors, business partners, and other counterparties. KCC requires that these principles are implemented in their operations or that equivalent standards are in place. We expect all counterparties to conduct their business accordingly.
The Code applies to our contractual relationships through standard agreements and clauses where relevant.
Reporting of Concerns (whistleblowing)
KCC believes in fostering a culture of openness and transparency. We encourage employees and external stakeholders to report any improper activities, breaches of laws, or violations of our Code of Conduct across our operations.
Employees who report concerns in accordance with Section 2-4 of the Norwegian Working Environment Act and the Klaveness Guidelines for Whistleblowing are protected against any form of retaliation. Reports can be made anonymously, and employees will receive a secure username and password to track their case and communicate confidentially. At any stage of the process, it remains optional to disclose one’s identity.
