MV Bastion successfully launched from dry dock
On 25 November 2025, KCC is pleased to announce that MV Bastion, the second of our three CABU III newbuilds, was successfully launched from dry dock at New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
Like her sister vessels in the CABU III fleet, Bastion is designed to deliver a 15% increase in carrying capacity and a 35% reduction in carbon footprint compared to the first-generation CABU vessels she will ultimately replace. The vessel will now move into the final stages of outfitting and sea trials before joining the KCC fleet in late March/early April 2026.
Next in the production line is MV Baltazar, our first vessel to carry windsail technology, with an expected delivery date in Q3 2026.
